OS X Mavericks has also broken my Android development environment by removing ant.
The fix is simple: download and install ant from http://ant.apache.org/bindownload.cgi
While I was at it, I also updated to the latest Android SDK from developer.android.com. Not necessary, but why not while fixing things.
